Book now for a great Lincolnshire holiday in 2012

The turkey and tinsel are over and done with, so why not look forward to a cracking holiday in Lincolnshire for 20122011?

You've put away the Christmas tree and spent far too much in the sales, so what is there to look forward to now other than endless furniture store advertisements on television?  Why not think about booking your annual holiday or even a short break - and there is no better place to come to than Lincolnshire.

Whether you fancy a mid-week getaway in Skegness or in the historic city of Lincoln - or whether you'd prefer a week or two in a caravan - or even find luxury in a top-rated hotel you can find it all here!

Lincolnshire Wolds

The Lincolnshire Wolds are an area of outstanding natural beauty and are a ramblers dream, as well as being suitable for almost all levels of ability.  Whether you want a slow walk to a rural public house or restaurant, or are more enthusiastic about seeing as much of the beautiful landscape as possible the Wolds are a great place to be.

Lincolnshire Fens

The Lincolnshire Fens are located in the southern area of Lincolnshire and is an area of very flat lands that are excellent for cycling as well as walking.  The Fens are famous for the arable farming that takes place on them, including the very well known varieties of potatoes grown in the area.

The Coast

Alongside Lincoln, probably the most famous area of Lincolnshire is the coastal strip consisting of Skegness, Ingoldmells, Chapel St. Leonards, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes.  Ideal for all the family, the coastal strip combines the fun of the fair in Ingoldmells and Cleethorpes with the tranquility and beauty of Gibraltar Point and the area between Chapel St. Leonards and Sandilands.

Whether you want to stay in a caravan, camping, bed and breakfast or hotel the coastal strip has something for everyone!

City of Lincoln

The historic city of Lincoln and its Cathedral and Castle are major tourist attractions, with people travelling from far and wide to visit the city.  The city is excellent for shopping, with the usual names in lower Lincoln and many different specialist boutique shops, cafes and restaurants surrounding the Cathedral and Castle in upper Lincoln.

You can also visit the Usher Gallery, take in some culture at the Drill Hall and much more.

With an increasing number of hotel rooms in the city, now is an excellent time to visit!
