On Wednesday 8 December, Skegness Fire Station will be holding a Christmas Fayre from 10am until 3pm.
There will be tours of the station, chip-pan fire demonstrations and the ’hazard house kitchen’ as well as stalls raising money for the Firefighters Charity. The Skegness crews and Community Fire Safety team will be on hand to give pointers on keeping your home and family safe from fire.
They will also be joined on the day by several community partnerships offering help and advice including Health Trainers, Surestart, Age UK/First Contact, Coastwatch and Smoke Free Homes. The Food for Life cooks will be holding cookery demonstrations and tasting sessions throughout the event.
If anyone would like to donate cakes for the charity cake stall, or any unwanted Christmas decorations please contact either Nicola Shipston or Zoe Brown at Skegness fire station (01754 898980).
