CallConnect customers can now book their seat any time, anywhere, thanks to a new website for your mobile phone.
Recently launched at www.lincsinterconnect.com, the new website means passengers can now use their smart phone to make a reservation, 24 hours a day, seven days a week – and even on the move.
Councillor William Webb, Executive Member for Highways and Transport, said:
"We’re working hard to make public transport the most attractive option for those making a journey. Not only is CallConnect better for the environment, it’s also better for your bank balance. The new mobile website is just one of the innovations we’ve introduced. You can now make a booking online, by phone or by text – whatever’s most convenient for you."
CallConnect is an on-demand service, allowing customers to book buses that collect them at a pre-arranged time. The nationally-acclaimed service has rapidly expanded since its introduction in 2001, with 29 routes now covering the whole of the county.
