Lincolnshire County Council Publish Christmas Opening Times
Lincolnshire County Council have published a guide to the opening times and emergency contact numbers for services in the county over Christmas and New Year.
Customer Service Centre
The centre will be open as normal, with the exception of:
- Friday 24 December: open 8am to 4pm
- Saturday 25 to Tuesday 28 December inclusive: closed
- Friday 31st December (open 8am to 6pm)
- Saturday 1 January 2011 to Monday 3 January 2011 inclusive: closed
Call Connect Service
The service will be open as normal, with the exception of:
- Friday 24 December: open 8am to 4pm
- Saturday 25 to Tuesday 28 November inclusive: closed
- Wednesday 29 to Friday 31 December: open 7.30am to 6pm
- Saturday 1 January 2011 to Monday 3 January 2011 inclusive: closed
Consumer Direct - East Midlands
This service will be open as normal, with the exception of:
- Friday 24 December: closes at 1pm
- Saturday 25 to Tuesday 28 December inclusive: closed
- Friday 31 December: closes at 4pm
- Saturday 1 January 2011 to Monday 3 January 2011 inclusive: closed
Social Care for Adults and Children
This will be open as normal, with the exception of:
- Friday 24 December: open 8 am to 4pm
- Saturday 25 to Tuesday 28 December inclusive: closed
- Friday 31 December: closes at 6pm
- Saturday 1 January 2011 to Monday 3 January 2011 inclusive: closed
An emergency adult social care and children’s services out of hours line (01522 782333) is open while the main service is closed.
Libraries, learning and heritage sites
Libraries will be open as normal with the exception of:
- Friday 24 to Tuesday 28 December inclusive: closed
- Friday 31 December to Monday 1 January 2011: closed
Heritage sites normally open on Sundays in winter and on bank holidays will be open 27 to 28 December. For more details call 01522 782040.
Fire and Rescue
The service is available at all times. For emergencies, please call 999.
Highways
Staff are on call at all times. They monitor the weather and liaise with emergency services. If a serious incident occurs, call Lincolnshire Police on 01522 532222 and they will contact the Highways Agency for you.
