Lincolnshire Show 2010

The County event of the year once again boasts a jam-packed schedule of entertainment and activities to see, discover and join in with from 8am to 8pm on Wednesday 23rd June and 8am to to 6pm on Thursday 24th June. Don't miss out!

Be careful not to get caught by the Black Knight when in the countryside area, he will be on the lookout for someone to challenge to a jousting competition in the Countryside Ring, however if you are feeling particularly brave you can visit his camp in the wild flower meadow and have your picture taken with him.

The Select Lincolnshire and Tastes of Lincolnshire Food Court is a must see for any Show visitor, the mouth watering selection of local produce on sale there is enough to temp anybody’s taste buds. If it’s a few ideas of what to do in the kitchen you are after why not pop along to one of Rachel Green’s demonstrations and pick up some tips.

With Show Jumping Classes in the Clydesdale Bank Main Ring, an action packed sports area, live entertainment on the Lincs FM Stage, the Medieval Village and much more you will be spoilt for choice of what to do.

Watch the spectacular Grand Parade of the best of the County’s Livestock, followed by the vintage to modern day agricultural machinery display before stepping in to the horticultural area and learning about all things green fingered.
The EPIC Centre is hosting the Carter Homes Sustainable Living Exhibition once again, featuring interactive displays and exhibits of everything you might need to live an eco friendly lifestyle. Alternatively if you are a shopaholic you can take a walk down the Mews and purchase to your heart’s content in the boutique style shopping avenue, or visit one of 600 traders around the Showground and see what’s on offer.
So much to do and only two days to do it all in, don’t miss the 126th Lincolnshire Show, Wednesday 23rd & Thursday 24th June 2010.
