A Lincolnshire council has said it will fine drivers caught throwing rubbish out of cars.
Any motorists spotted dropping litter in East Lindsey, which includes tourist hotspot Skegness, will be fined £75 on the spot by wardens.
The council spends an annual £1.5m cleaning the streets and said the money could be put to much better use.
Spokesman James Gilbert said: "Litter is something we take very seriously here. It won't be tolerated."
