Santa is encouraging children visiting him at the Hildreds Centre in Skegness to go green by giving away minature Christmas trees to be planted in their gardens!
The official Skegness Christmas light switch on will take place on Thursday, 26 November at around 7.15pm. Visitors coming to the Hildreds Centre can visit Santa's Grotto, which will be opening on the night of the switch on, bookings can be made in advance at the Grotto Stall during the afternoon.
The Christmas Parade, which includes members from the Skegness Scouts and Guides, will be joined by the Jolly Fisherman, dancers from Janice Sutton's School of Dance and the Mayor of Skegness.
Two more late night Christmas shopping nights have been announced that will be held on the 10th and 17th of December.
