Warm Weather Burglary Warning

Police are warning residents to lock their doors while they are out in their gardens. Sneak-in burglaries do increase when the weather gets warmer and people spend more time in their gardens.

Thieves prowl residential areas looking for opportunities where people have left windows and doors open while they are out enjoying the sunshine. In only takes seconds to nip in and steal something. Residents are being urged to be vigilant when they are in their gardens and if possible, to make sure doors are locked.

Report crime or suspicious activity to Lincolnshire Police on: 0300 111 0300. Give information on criminals operating in your area anonymously to independent charity, Crimestoppers, on: 0800 555 111.
