As his year as Lincoln's Mayor draws to a close, Councillor David Gratrick is preparing to host one final charity event.
‘The Final Curtain’ at the Assembly Rooms on Saturday 8th May will feature songs from stage and screen performed by vocalists Just Us and The Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Concert Band will create its famed big band sound.
Priced at £15, including a hot buffet supper, tickets are selling fast for the event, with proceeds going towards the Mayor’s charity appeal, which this year is the Lincoln Cathedral Music Fund.
The Right Worshipful, the Mayor of Lincoln, Councillor David Gratrick, said: "I’ve had a wonderful year as Mayor, and have particularly enjoyed seeing some of the incredible work that goes on in the city to help people who are disadvantaged in some way.
The Final Curtain is a chance to look back on the past year. It promises to be highly entertaining and will be raising money for charity, so it will be a good send off!"
